When I bought these sets on eBay, the seller didn't mention the artist. Once I got them I noticed the signature, and internet sleuthing led me to Marquis Miniatures. I think I need to make an artist's studio now.

 

Camille Allen Baby Doll & Nursery

Found this beautiful cherry wood nursery set.  According to the seller, the set was originally made in England and curated from a collection from the Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures in Tucson, Arizona. It is perfect for the Camille Allen baby doll I got at the Texas Miniature Showcase last week.

Mother-of-pearl Tilt-top Table & Bespaq Italian Grotto Chairs

After years of searching, I found the discontinued shell shaped chairs by Bespaq. The tilt-top mother-of-pearl inlaid table is by an unknown artist, but I assume it is from Mexico since it is in the same style as my Mexican musical instruments. I keep them as a set since their walnut finish matches so perfectly, and mother-of-pearl is perfect with shells, no? 😁

Taller Targioni Gramophone

Finally my search is over for a Taller Targioni gramophone. I saw one at the Dallas Miniature Showcase two years ago, and forever regretted not buying it at the time. Finally found this gem on Facebook. 

Bodo Hennig Gramophone

One of my favorite pieces: a working Bodo Hennig gramophone. Watch the video to hear it play! It is a battery-operated music box which starts playing when you turn the crank.
